Action for Recovery:
Learn, Engage, and Advocate with MOAR

At the Massachusetts Organization for Addiction Recovery (MOAR), our mission is to bring recovering individuals, families, and friends together as a unified voice to educate the public on the value of recovery from alcohol and other addictions. One powerful way we carry out this mission is by helping our communities understand the policies shaping addiction treatment and recovery in Massachusetts.

Each month, our Regional Coordinators lead virtual Action for Recovery meetings—open, accessible spaces where we break down key legislation, share MOAR’s policy priorities, and support community members in becoming strong, informed advocates. These conversations often include guest speakers connected to specific bills, offering firsthand insight into what’s happening at the State House.

Whether you're in recovery, supporting a loved one, or simply want to make an impact, these meetings are a chance to learn what’s being done to support the recovery community—and discover clear, tangible ways you can take action.

Below, you’ll find flyers and links for our five monthly virtual meetings. Join us in shaping a stronger, more compassionate future for recovery in Massachusetts.
